ReNew wasn't opened to fill a market gap. It was opened because Kamee had spent 26 years watching the system fail the people who needed it most — and decided to build something better.
Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and the heart behind ReNew Wellness. Kamee built this practice around one belief: that emotional safety isn't a luxury in mental health care — it's the foundation of everything. She is passionate about decreasing stigma, advocating for patients who've been dismissed, and proving that deep, individualized care is possible.
Melissa has been a business owner in the Phoenix area for over 20 years. As the Operations Director at ReNew Wellness, she oversees every aspect of the patient experience — ensuring that each interaction reflects the compassion, professionalism, and personalized care that sets ReNew Wellness apart from other mental health centers. Patients often remark that they can feel the difference the moment they walk through the doors of ReNew Wellness — and that's by design.
Since 1999, I've been a nurse. For most of that time, I worked in emergency medicine — administering ketamine to children for conscious sedation, knowing exactly how safe it was.
Eight years ago, a family member I love was in crisis — depressed, suicidal, having tried everything. When I read about ketamine's potential for mental health treatment, I trusted what I already knew about the medicine. She walked into that first appointment in despair. She walked out lighter, hopeful, and free of suicidal ideation. That session changed everything for both of us.
I left my corporate nursing job, co-founded ReNew with my best friend, and we started one patient at a time. Today we serve over two hundred veterans and hold one of the only VA contracts in Arizona that includes ketamine treatment. Our philosophy has always been rooted in holistic care and creating a space where patients feel at home.
She has seen what happens when mental health care moves too fast, dismisses too quickly, and medicates without listening. She built ReNew because there is a better way.
"My kids got their mom back." Veterans who'd given up. Patients who'd tried everything. That's what drives the work.
Healing starts with safety. Not safety enough — actual safety. Everything at ReNew is built around creating that before anything clinical happens.

Kamee didn't open a clinic to be in the wellness industry. She opened it because she'd spent two decades watching patients not get what they actually needed.
Not marketing. Real patients describing what it felt like to finally be somewhere that listened, stayed, and didn't rush them out the door.
ReNew is one of the only practices in Arizona with a VA contract that includes ketamine treatment. We've earned that distinction through proven outcomes and rigorous patient tracking.
Just a real conversation about what you're going through and whether we're the right fit.
